Job Description
At Mendocino Coast Sea Dragons, we are looking for a dedicated Swim Instructor to lead our swimming programs and provide lessons to children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a genuine love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers. Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction tailored to students of various ages and skill levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all participants
• Assess student progress and offer feedback and support as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students in educational or instructional settings
• Proficiency in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Effective behavior management abilities
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
